Terms of service
Last updated July 2026
These terms govern your use of Stet — the website at stethq.com and the Stet application. By using Stet, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Stet is operated by Landstrom LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Stet,” “we,” or “us”). If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you’re authorized to bind that organization.
These Terms consist of this page plus the Common Paper Cloud Service Standard Terms (Version 2.1), which are incorporated by reference. Those standard terms cover the detailed rules — acceptable use, intellectual property, warranties, liability, and more. Where this page and the standard terms differ, this page controls.

The service
Stet lets you compose, schedule, and deliver targeted announcements (broadcasts) to Slack channels across one or more audiences, with delivery tracking and reply notifications.
Beta and fees
Stet is free during the beta. Features may change and we can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability; we’ll give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can. We may introduce paid plans in the future — if we do, we’ll give you advance notice, and you won’t be charged without first agreeing to the pricing.
Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for the messages you broadcast, for having permission to post to the Slack channels you target, and for complying with Slack’s terms. Don’t use Stet for unlawful, harassing, or infringing content or for spam, and don’t attempt to disrupt or misuse the service. You keep ownership of the content you create; you grant us the permission needed to store, process, and deliver it to the channels you choose, on your behalf.
Relationship with Slack
Stet is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Slack Technologies, LLC. Your use of Slack is governed by your own agreement with Slack.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100. Because the service is free during the beta, this generally limits our liability to US$100. The standard terms set out the full liability framework, including any exclusions.
Data processing and privacy
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy page. If you process the personal data of others through Stet, our Data Processing Agreement — the Common Paper Standard DPA (Version 1.1) — is available on request.
