Quickstart

From sign-up to a delivered broadcast in one sitting.

Stet takes a broadcast from draft to delivered in one sitting. This page walks the whole path: sign up, connect your Slack workspace, build an audience, compose with a live preview, test send, and send.

Sign-up and Slack connection

Sign up and name your organization, then connect your Slack workspace: Connect Slack workspace starts Slack OAuth, a Slack admin approves the install, and Stet adds its bot to your Slack workspace. Each organization connects to exactly one Slack workspace.

Channels and your first audience

Stet syncs your Slack channel list as soon as you connect. Add the bot to any channel it's missing from — one at a time or in bulk — since a broadcast can only reach channels the bot has joined. Then group channels into your first audience: give it a name and a color, and choose the channels it should include.

Composing with the live preview

Open a broadcast to compose it. The preview pane renders the exact Slack output as you type, using the same render code the send pipeline uses — send fidelity by construction. Each block can target a chosen subset of your audiences, and the preview's audience pills show exactly what each one will receive.

Test send

Send test… posts the broadcast to you as a Slack DM before it reaches anyone else, so you can check the real Slack render before an audience sees it.

Send or schedule

Schedule… arms a broadcast to send at a chosen future time. Send now posts it to every channel in its targeted audiences right away instead. Once sending starts, delivery is tracked per channel until the broadcast reaches a final state.
